1) Open Access Statement
SITEKNIK is a fully open‑access journal. All articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication, with no embargo and no registration required. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to full texts, perform text and data mining, or use the content for any other lawful purpose under the license terms below.
Note: Access for readers is free, but authors are charged an Article Processing Charge (APC) after acceptance.
2) Copyright & Licensing
- All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal a non‑exclusive right to publish the version of record.
- The CC BY 4.0 license statement is clearly displayed on each article (HTML and PDF) and embedded in machine‑readable metadata.
- License link: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
3) Publication Fees (APC)
- No fees for readers (full open access).
- No submission or peer‑review fees.
- An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only if the manuscript is accepted for publication.
- The APC amount, currency, what the fee covers, and waiver/discount policies are transparently stated on the Author Fees page.
- Editorial decisions are never influenced by the ability to pay. Invoices are issued after acceptance; publication proceeds once payment or waiver is confirmed.
4) Self‑Archiving Policy
Authors may deposit without embargo any of the following versions in institutional, subject, or personal repositories:
- Preprint (before peer review),
- Postprint / Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) (after peer review, before journal formatting),
- Version of Record (VoR) (published version).
When depositing, authors must:
- Include the full citation to the SITEKNIK version of record,
- Provide the DOI/URL of the published article,
- Indicate the applicable CC BY 4.0 license.
5) Re‑use of Content
Re‑use, adaptation, and redistribution are permitted under CC BY 4.0, provided that:
- Proper attribution is given to the author(s) and the journal,
- A link to the license is included, and
- Any changes are indicated.
Note: Third‑party material not covered by CC BY 4.0 will be clearly labeled and must be used according to its specific terms.
6) Long‑Term Preservation
SITEKNIK ensures permanent availability and integrity of its content through participation in the PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PKP PLN) for long‑term digital preservation.
