1. Fee Transparency

SITEKNIK maintains a transparent author-fee policy. All mandatory and optional charges that may apply from manuscript submission through publication are stated on this page. Authors are not charged a submission fee or a standard peer-review fee. Article Processing Charges (APCs) are requested only after a manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision.

2. Author Fee Schedule

Optional Expedited Editorial and Peer-Review Processing IDR 400,000 Optional prioritization of editorial and peer-review processing. This service does not guarantee acceptance, favorable review, or publication.
3. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

SITEKNIK charges an Article Processing Charge only after a manuscript has successfully completed editorial assessment and peer review and has received a formal acceptance decision.

The APC supports scholarly publishing activities including editorial administration, copyediting and production coordination, layout preparation, online publication, journal-system and website maintenance, metadata management, digital dissemination, and other operational activities required to maintain the journal.

Authors are not required to pay the APC for manuscripts that are rejected or withdrawn before formal acceptance.

4. Additional Page Charges

The normal manuscript length for SITEKNIK is 9–11 pages in accordance with the Author Guidelines and official manuscript template. The regular APC covers articles up to and including 11 pages.

If an accepted manuscript exceeds 11 pages, an additional charge of IDR 50,000 for each additional page applies beginning with page 12. Authors are encouraged to keep manuscripts concise and to follow the official SITEKNIK template.

5. Optional Expedited Editorial and Peer-Review Processing

Authors who require prioritized manuscript handling may voluntarily request Optional Expedited Editorial and Peer-Review Processing for an additional fee of IDR 400,000.

Under this option, the editorial office prioritizes administrative screening, handling-editor assignment, reviewer invitation, review coordination, and editorial follow-up. The journal aims for approximately 2–3 weeks to the first editorial decision, subject to reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, editorial workload, required clarifications, and other circumstances affecting the peer-review process.

Expedited manuscripts undergo the same editorial screening, double-blind peer review, evaluation by at least two independent reviewers, research-integrity checks, ethical requirements, and scholarly standards as manuscripts processed through the standard route.

The expedited-processing fee does not guarantee completion within a fixed period, favorable reviewer recommendations, manuscript acceptance, a particular editorial outcome, or publication in a specific issue.

Expedited Processing Is Not Fast-Track Publication

Optional expedited processing concerns only the prioritization of editorial and peer-review workflow. It is not a fast-track publication service, does not bypass peer review, and does not provide preferential acceptance or guaranteed publication.

6. Editorial Independence from Author Fees

Author fees, payment status, additional page charges, or the selection or non-selection of optional expedited processing do not influence reviewer selection, reviewer recommendations, editorial assessment, acceptance, rejection, or publication decisions.

Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly relevance, originality, methodological quality, research integrity, ethical compliance, clarity, and the evidence presented in the manuscript.

7. Payment Procedure

Mandatory publication charges are communicated only after formal manuscript acceptance. Authors should make payments only according to instructions provided through SITEKNIK's authorized editorial communication channels.

Authors should not transfer funds to unauthorized individuals, personal contacts, or accounts that have not been formally communicated by the journal or publisher.

8. Waivers and Discounts
SITEKNIK does not currently operate an automatic APC waiver or discount program. If a waiver, discount, sponsorship, institutional arrangement, or other fee-support mechanism is introduced in the future, its eligibility criteria and application procedure will be published transparently on the journal website. Waiver or discount status will not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.
9. Changes to Author Fees
SITEKNIK may revise its author-fee structure when necessary. Any change to mandatory or optional author charges will be published transparently on this page. Authors will be informed of applicable mandatory publication charges before payment is requested.
