2. Digital Archiving

  • All published articles are permanently archived in the SITEKNIK Journal’s Open Journal System (OJS) platform.
  • The journal implements regular backups of its database and files to secure servers to prevent data loss.
  • Articles are stored in multiple formats (PDF, XML, and metadata) to ensure compatibility with future technologies.

3. External Archiving Services

  • SITEKNIK Journal participates in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS networks to guarantee distributed archiving among partner libraries.
  • The journal also deposits content in national and institutional repositories where applicable.

4. Self-Archiving by Authors

  • Authors are allowed and encouraged to self-archive the final published version (publisher’s PDF) in:
    • Institutional repositories
    • Personal websites
    • Subject-based repositories (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
  • Self-archiving must include a citation to the original publication and a DOI link to the SITEKNIK Journal.

5. Preservation of Access

  • In the event that the SITEKNIK Journal ceases publication, all published content will remain accessible through the journal’s website and partner archiving services.
  • Metadata will remain indexed in major databases to ensure discoverability.

6. Licensing and Copyright

  • All archived content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing free use, distribution, and reproduction with proper attribution.
