Policy Statement

The archiving policy of SITEKNIK ensures the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly works. This policy aligns with international best practices for digital preservation and scholarly communication.

SITEKNIK utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS networks to guarantee distributed archiving among partner libraries. Additionally, content is preserved through the PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PKP PLN).

Author Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are encouraged to self-archive the Version of Record (VoR) or the publisher's PDF in:
  • Institutional repositories (e.g., University digital libraries).
  • Personal/Professional websites.
  • Subject-based repositories (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).

*Deposits must include a full citation and a DOI link to the original SITEKNIK publication.

Archived Formats
Articles are permanently stored in PDF, XML, and machine-readable metadata to ensure compatibility with future technologies.
Preservation of Access
If the journal ceases publication, content remains accessible via partner networks and the CC BY 4.0 license remains active.
