Pentingnya Penerapan Green Banking Bagi Bank Syariah Di Indonesia

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak penerapan green banking terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah di Indonesia, dengan efisiensi biaya operasional sebagai mediator. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat kuantitatif, dengan sampel berupa 10 bank umum syariah sepanjang 2021–2024. Analisis dilakukan melalui model jalur menggunakan SPSS, dilengkapi uji Sobel untuk menguji mediasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi green banking memiliki efek negatif yang signifikan terhadap BOPO, tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA, dan BOPO berperan sebagai mediator dengan pengaruh negatif terhadap ROA.
